Going to events is better with friends. And buying conditional tickets is better when you can coordinate as a group. Today we are introducing Group Deals, a feature that lets you create shareable conditional ticket offers, invite your friends, and collectively commit to attending an event at a fraction of the normal cost.
How Group Deals Work
The flow starts like any conditional ticket. You pick an event, choose a prediction market condition, and get a quote. But instead of purchasing alone, you create a Group Deal. This generates a unique public page with a shareable link that you can send to your friends, post in group chats, or share on social media.
The public page shows everything your friends need to know: the event, the condition, the conditional price, the discount percentage, and how many people have already expressed interest. It includes full Open Graph meta tags so it renders a rich preview on X, iMessage, WhatsApp, and any other platform that supports link previews.
Interest Capture and Position Tracking
When someone visits your group deal page, they can register their interest without immediately paying. The system tracks positions, so you can see exactly how many people are in and how many spots remain. Once the minimum group size is reached, the deal becomes actionable and everyone can proceed to payment.
This interest-based model eliminates the coordination problem that kills most group ticket purchases. No more "let me check with everyone" loops. The page is the single source of truth for who is in, who is out, and what the current price is.
Why Groups Make Conditional Tickets Better
Individual conditional tickets already offer significant discounts. But groups add three additional benefits:
- Social validation. When your friends are also betting on the same outcome, it reinforces conviction. The group deal page shows how many people share your belief, turning a solo bet into a collective statement.
- Better seat coordination. Groups can target adjacent seats, ensuring everyone sits together if the condition is met. Our execution engine handles the multi-seat purchase as a single transaction.
- Shared experience from day one. The anticipation of waiting for a condition to resolve is more fun when shared. The group deal page becomes a natural gathering point for your crew to watch the markets together.
Example: World Cup Final with Friends
Picture this: World Cup 2026 group stage is underway. Your national team has a 25% chance of making the Final according to Polymarket. Final tickets have a face value of $3,000. A conditional ticket costs $3,000 x 0.25 x 1.40 = $1,050 per person.
You create a group deal for 6 people. Share the link in your group chat. Within a day, 4 of your friends have registered interest. Two more friends of friends find the public page and join. The deal is full. Everyone pays $1,050 instead of $3,000. If your team makes the Final, all 6 of you are going together, having saved $11,700 collectively.
What is Next
Group Deals are live now in our MVP. The public pages are shareable, interest capture is working, and the execution pipeline handles multi-ticket purchases. We are currently building out group-specific pricing tiers where larger groups unlock additional discounts, making the economics even more compelling for organizers.
Conditional tickets already make premium events accessible. Group deals make them social. Together, they represent a fundamentally new way to experience live events: bet on your team, bring your friends, and pay less for it.
